Welcome to the Criterion website!  Here you can find information about upcoming events and our extensive range of beverages. Based in the heart of Leicester, the Criterion is a traditional pub located in close proximity to the city's busy shopping arcades. The pub first opened its doors as the Criterion back in January 2003 following its transformation from The Nags Head. Our two bars offer a fine range of well-kept ales together with a selection of continental beers. We are also pleased to offer freshly-baked stone-cooked pizzas from the kitchen.We have a regular programme of live entertainment (please see our events page for current listings).
